Textiles end up in Washington State landfills annually. That is the equivalent of filling a major NFL stadium three times every year.
Of used clothing arrive in Kenya every month. Around 40% is unsellable waste dumped in open landfills. The Atacama Desert has 39,000 tons piled up and growing.
